Session information
Getting Started
I suggest we begin with a free 15-minute phone or video call. This gives us both a chance to get a sense of each other, talk through what brings you to therapy, and discuss any questions or hopes you may have.
Frequency & Duration
Sessions are offered weekly, with the possibility of moving to fortnightly depending on your needs and my availability. I recommend starting with weekly sessions to help build a steady, supportive therapeutic relationship.
There’s no set timeframe for how long we work together—therapy can be short-term, long-term, or open-ended. A good initial focus is 8 to 12 sessions, after which we can review and decide together how to continue.
Format & Availability
I offer therapy sessions primarily online via Google Meet, with some limited in-person availability. In-person sessions take place in Glasgow city centre, with good transport links and local permit parking nearby.
Session Length & Fees
Each session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at £60. Fees are payable in advance, including for the first session.
I offer a limited number of concessionary spaces for students, those on low incomes or benefits, and individuals with refugee status. Please ask about this in your initial contact.
Cancellations
I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. If less notice is given, full session fee may apply. I’ll always give you as much notice as possible if I need to cancel and, of course, you won’t be charged in emergencies or unexpected situations on my end.
